Faine ruminates on Dr. Johnson's iconic statement that when 'a man is tired of London, he is tired of life' in this new edition.

'This is quite simply an A-Z of the famous people who have lived in London and have been responsible for creating its cultural ambience. The images vary from straight forward photographs of familiar places and people to the slightly more obscure images such as Sickert's painting of a murdered prostitute in Camden, and an own-brand tin of pot noodle from Harrods.'
