Dancer with Sash

An intimate moment is captured as a ballerina adjusts the layers of her costume. Though Fraser uses forceful charcoal lines, he conveys a great delicacy. The way the dancer bends over suggests the movement of a rag doll, her turned-out feet reminiscent of a young child. The only splashes of colour are her beautiful blue sash and a red rose in her hair.
