Linda Le Kinff

Of Brazilian descent Linda Le Kniff was born in Paris in 1949. Her work is in private and public collections throughout Europe and she has held many exhibitions notably in France and Italy. An exhibition of her work organised by the French Government-sponsored "La Maison du Culture" has recently toured Morocco and the Galerie "Sfinx" in Antwerp has exhibited work with Marie Laurencin and Leonor Fini. Promoted by her success in Antwerp she has had a very successful exhibition in Grenoble and her work attracted considerable professional interest at the Washington Art Fair and Frankfurt Book Fair in 1980. Her distinctive lithographs are slightly oriental in flavour with their rich warm colours beautifully balanced compositions and strikingly attractive images which retain very feminine elements of mystery.
