Date: Phillips' simple and elegant design shows six stages of a heart as it gradually becomes whole. He plays with the arrange ment of the phrase 'take art for the heart', placing it inside the heart shapes and reducing and simplifying it until there is nothing left. This beautiful original is watercolour and pencil on paper, and is the basis for Phillips' silkscreen print of the same name in the Breath of Life portfolio.
