Silkscreen print based on Sir Peter Blake's work in the early 60's. Kandy is representative of the fantasy women that Blake painted in the 1960s. Though the women depicted in these works are shown as objects of desire, Blake deisplays great sensitivity and tenderness in these pictures, stopping them from cominf across as merely lewd. Blake's pin-up girls have too much strength in them to be dismissed as passive victims and too much personality for them to be dismissed as empty vessels.
